It’s 35 deg. C. in Bangalore, India today, hot and dry! If you are feeling the heat where you are, try these ruby-red beauties to cool you down!
I spoke to my mother, Ma as I call her, this morning to wish her for Mother’s Day, she mentioned how hot it was, instantly I wished I could make her one of these and hence this post
Here’s a simple recipe dedicated to all you lovely ladies – mothers! For life would not have been the same without you 🙂 Thank you for being the source of compassionate energy to the world. You have enriched our lives greatly 🙂
Happy Mother’s day!
Ingredients:
- half a (small-sized) watermelon (preferably sweet, if it’s not sweet enough add some sugar/ agave/ honey)
- 8-10 leaves of fresh mint
- Ice cubes (optional)
Chop the watermelon into small chunks, wash the mint leaves and add into a blender and blend
You could strain the juice out to separate the pulp if you prefer, serve chilled or with ice cubes. Job done!
Enjoy!
Tip: if the watermelon is too sweet as they can be sometimes, the ice cubes should dilute them, if not add a little water to balance out 🙂
This sounds AMAZING!! 🍉🌞
